In the archaeological site of Santa Venera al Pozzo, near Acireale, we can see an excellent case of coseismics damages: the roman podium is faulted and nearby this damages there are a sulphur waters spring with roman baths. This mean that the seismic in this area is still active and that deep faults connects idrothermal systems with the surface.
